Story plot
*Spoiler alert!
Adrian Doria, a wealthy businessman, meets Virginia Goodman, a veteran lawyer expert in witness preparation and judicial declaration, recommended by Adrián's lawyer Felix Leiva, in order to create a credible defense.
Arrested by the police in a hotel room with the corpse of his lover (Laura) at his side, Adrián talks Virginia regarding the crime and his relationship with Laura, revealing that both suffered a car accident where a boy named Daniel Garrido died.
Virginia and Adrián continued the conversation, however, she was unconvinced of Adrián's testimony; forces to clear the dark points of his history, in a puzzle where the truth and the lie are easily exchangeable.
Act 1 (BGM1)
Virginia:Mr. Doria? I'm Virginia Goodman. I came on behalf of your lawyer, Felix Leiva.
Adrian:A pleasure to meet you. Come in, please. I expected you later, Mrs. Goodman.
Virginia:Yes, I'm afraid there's been a mishap. I tried to talk to Felix, but he's not responding.
Adrian:He's traveling. But he assured me he had everything under control, he had a lead...
Virginia:(Interrupts him) That would change everything. It's very likely that you'll be compelled to testify tonight.
Adrian:(Surprised) What are you saying?
Virginia:My contacts in court assure me that the prosecution has a last-minute witness, that could provide a definitive turning point in your case. They are transferring him to the courts in the next three hours.
Adrian:BUT I told the truth.
Virginia:There are gaps in your statement, Mr.Doria and I need details. Plausibility is based on details. I can use them to convince the world that you're innocent. And I assure you that I can. So far, I've never lost a case before any judge. But I need you to cooperate.
Adrian:The police have turned this place into a cell. They watch me 24 hours a day. Don't you think that if I had more to say, I'd have told you already?
Virginia:They will request your immediate arrest, Mr. Doria. We have 180 minutes to review everything from the start. So I'd advise you to stop complaining and get down to business.
