Voice-over：Under the cover of night, a man stealthily infiltrated the office. Amidst hushed breaths, he donned a black headband. As the radio crackled to life, he quivered, stepping away from the desk, only to be struck by debris hurled by another masked man. In the midst of the scuffle, he initially held the advantage but suffered a cut from a sharp weapon. Seizing the opportunity during his adversary's painful moment, the other man wielded an iron bar and struck forcefully. Subsequently, he removed his headband, raising his left hand towards the monitor.

James Gordon：You think? What's all the black on him?

Harvey Bullock：Ink? Paint?

James Gordon：Good morning, Ed. 

Edward Nygma：( 笑吟吟 ) Detective. Going by over all coagulation, I'd say time of death is midnight. But... He's only been here for a couple hours. Rats have just started on his ears. Sneaky little buggers.

James Gordon：So, not a mugging. Muggers don't move the body. Abrasions on his knuckles... Put up a fight.

Harvey Bullock：Yeah. Look at the suspenders. I'm guessing he's some kind of finance guy. Maybe it was an abduction ransom thing gone wrong. He resists, ka-chunk! Do you want to talk to the uniforms that found the body? 

James Gordon：Uh, you do it. We should canvass the area, though; a lot of homeless around here.

Harvey Bullock：I'll get some unis on it.

James Gordon：I'll handle it myself. ( 对抽烟的乔，严肃 ) Hey, Joe! Go smoke somewhere else, huh?

Harvey Bullock：( 劝说 ) Come on, Jim, that's what we got uniforms for. Let them do it.

James Gordon：( 固执 ) And I'd rather handle it myself.

Edward Nygma：( 立刻接 ) Detectives... I'm guessing I should run all the prints?

Harvey Bullock：Yeah, Ed, run the prints.

Edward Nygma：This one, too? ( 从死者嘴里拽出一根手指，无音效 )

James Gordon：( 两秒后 ) Yeah, Ed, that one, too.

Oswald Cobblepot：( 笑 ) I'm so glad you feel that way. Don Maroni wants us to clarify terms.

Fish Mooney：Well, it's business as usual. Maroni still has his drugs, his unions. He pays tariff for the ports. If he needs favors from the cops or the mayor, Don Falcone will consider it. And, of course, the families still share Arkham.

Oswald Cobblepot：( 诚恳 ) And there is to be no blood spilled on either side. Not a drop.

Fish Mooney：Maybe just a drop.

Oswald Cobblepot：( 笑着学穆尼经典摇手指动作，啧啧啧 )

Fish Mooney：( 假装被科波特逗笑 ) Look at you. ( 对身边的侍从，意有所指 ) Timothy, do you know this fellow used to have your job? Carried my umbrella and thought it an honor. Now look at him. Has a seat at the table.

Oswald Cobblepot：( 笑吟吟，小得意 ) Things change, eh? I've been blessed.

Fish Mooney：Perhaps I should open your gift. ( 打开盒子看见胸针，吸一口气 ) My goodness. That is beautiful. Now I feel awful. I didn't get you anything.

Oswald Cobblepot：( 笑着摇头 ) No.

Fish Mooney：( 笑意 ) Thank you.

[场景：穆尼笑着像科波特表示感谢，下一秒抓着胸针狠狠刺入科波特放在桌上的手掌。科波特强忍着痛苦，举起另一只手示意身后的手下不要加剧冲突]

Oswald Cobblepot：( 严肃 ) Convey my respects to your Don.

Harvey Bullock：Gordon's finishing up with the mother. So far, nothing off the severed thumb and none of the city's ERs have seen any thumbless guys.

Sarah Essen：You think he went black market?

Harvey Bullock：That's next on my list.

Sarah Essen：How's Gordon?

Harvey Bullock：( 隔着百叶窗看着戈登，感慨 ) Angry. How would you feel if every cop in the building ran out on you? And now they all treat him like he's got the plague, 'cause seeing him reminds them of what cowards they all are. ( 回头看见艾森局长的表情，反应过来 ) I'm sorry, Cap, I... I didn't mean you.

Sarah Essen：( 感慨 ) Nope. You're right. But he's gotta get over that. Can't do this job alone. Lucky he's got you.

Harvey Bullock：( 看着窗外抱头思考的戈登 ) Yeah.

[场景：送礼不成的科波特把胸针拿回家献给自己的母亲]

Oswald Cobblepot：( 试图宽慰 ) N-Nobody. It's just a scratch. It's...

Mrs. Kapelput：(打断， 严肃，心疼 ) Is your mother a fool? No. Someone is being mean to my boy.

Oswald Cobblepot：It's a tough business.

Mrs. Kapelput：( 觉得荒谬 ) The restaurant business is so tough these days? Why is that?

Oswald Cobblepot：( 立刻接 ) My success makes other people envious.

Mrs. Kapelput：So tell the boss on these people.

Oswald Cobblepot：This person isn't scared of the boss. Not like they should be. I don't know why.

Mrs. Kapelput：I know. ( 做作的心痛状 ) When I was in school, Magda Himmelfarb was so mean to me and teacher did nothing.

Oswald Cobblepot：Why?

Mrs. Kapelput：( 严肃 ) Because such a good dancer I was. And Magda, with her nice hair and her big bosoms, a carthorse.
