[Oswald Cobblepot：Pepper was framed by Fish Mooney and the cops. ]

[Renee Montoya：James Gordon is not a good guy. You deserve better. ]

[James Gordon：Don't ever come back to Gotham. ]

[Carmine Falcone：I spoke with Cobblepot before he died. Men who are about to die are very honest. ]

[Fish Mooney：I am going to kill that old man. I just wish Penguin was still alive. ]

[Selina Kyle：I've been watching you. I saw who really killed the Waynes. ]

Voice-over：Having faced countless challenges, Cobblepot at last made his way back to Gotham. As he glanced the streets engulfed in chaos and crime, a contented smile stretched across his face.

[Thief：Excuse me! ]

[Robber：Thank you. ]

[Victim：Somebody took... Stop him! ]

[Prostitute：Ooh~ You need some...? ]

[Oswald Cobblepot：Home. ]

[News anchor：And let's go live for some breaking news... ]

Journalist：( 播音腔 ) Thank you, Jason. I'm coming to you with the latest wrinkle in a story that sent shock waves through the financial world of Gotham. I'm standing before the home of Ronald Danzer, the man who bilked investors out of a reported half billion dollars in a vast Ponzi scheme( 庞氏骗局 ). Danzer is currently out on bail awaiting trial.

[豪宅内，丹泽尔正在和律师通话]

Ronald Danzer：( 小声但是依然趾高气昂 ) All of them-- the judge, the jury, the D.A.- pay them whatever it takes. I am not going to prison just because a few dumb bus drivers and stupid old ladies lost their damn pensions. I got to sneak out. The villagers are here with pitchforks. You're my lawyer. Fix this!

[戴着猪头面具的气球人在丹泽尔后门溜达]

[02:09 推车铃声同]

Balloonman：( 叫卖 ) Balloons! Balloon...! Here, balloons! ( 拉住乔装打扮从后门溜出来的丹泽尔 ) Want a balloon?

Ronald Danzer：( 吓一跳 ) What? No. No, thank you. No.

Balloonman：Ronald Danzer?

Ronald Danzer：Who are you?

[气球人二话不说，用手铐将丹泽尔拷在了其中一个气象气球上。随着机关打开，气球被迅速释放，带着丹泽尔飞上了天空]

[02:36 Ronald Danzer：Ah... Help me! ]

Journalist：( 对摄像师 ) That's Ronald Danzer. Roll the camera! Roll the camera!

Ronald Danzer：( 依然在上升，拉长音 ) Help me...!

[气球人功成身退，把猪头面具丢在地上]

Journalist：( 播音腔 ) In a bizarre turn of events, a man appearing to be Ronald Danzer is rising into the air above Gotham, attached to... a weather balloon.

James Gordon：Cart was loaded with bricks for ballast. So, Ronald Danzer cheats half of Gotham out of their savings, but before he can stand trial, an unknown man clips him to a balloon? No body? We calling this a murder?

Harvey Bullock：Call it a public service. Danzer was a bum. He got what he deserved. I'm gonna go get a Danish ( 丹麦酥 ). It's what I deserve.

[警局内]

Bill Cranston：( 大声 ) Damn it! Somebody find me O'Brian! And get me some ice!

Bill Cranston：( 一转眼看见戈登 ) Who the hell are you?

James Gordon：Jim Gordon.

Bill Cranston：( 语气缓和下来 ) Jim Gordon. You're Bullock's new partner, hey? Yeah. Lieutenant ( /lu: ˈtenənt/，警督 ) Bill Cranston. Yeah, Bullock tells me you're a real Boy Scout. Don't think we should be roughing up the skels?

James Gordon：Well, they do have their rights.

Bill Cranston：( 阴阳怪气 ) I'm gonna have to remember that. Maybe I'll get that tattooed on my ass ( 大笑 ). Let me show you something, Gordon. ( 接过小铜人 ) This was a gift from the Gotham Chamber of Commerce for years of service. I call him O'Brian. He also just happens to be the best interrogator on the force. Nice meeting you, Gordon. ( 对审讯室内的囚犯 ) Oh, Luke, say hello to Sergeant O'Brian.

[04:37 关门声][克兰斯顿警督扬起手里的小铜人]

[Luke：No! No! Ah--------]

James Gordon：I just met Lieutenant Cranston.

Harvey Bullock：The man, the myth, the legend.

James Gordon：He's a thug.

James Gordon：So, no fingerprints, and those carts are too easy to buy or steal to trace. How you coming on those death threats?

Harvey Bullock：I thought we talked about this.

James Gordon：Ronald Danzer was murdered. It's our job to catch murderers.

Harvey Bullock：The guy was a crook.

James Gordon：Who had not been convicted of any crime.

Harvey Bullock：Tell that to the two guys who killed themselves because he lost their life savings. This guy was living high for 30 years while the city kissed his ass and gave him awards for being such a philanthropist. 

James Gordon：So we just let his killer go free.

Harvey Bullock：Guy walks in here, holds out his hands, I'll arrest him. Otherwise, I'm content justice was served.

James Gordon：Like with the Waynes? Is that what you mean? 

Harvey Bullock：Mario Pepper killed the Waynes. We killed Pepper. That case is closed.

[州北少管所的工作人员拉蒙德带着凯尔过来了]

Davis Lamond：Detective Gordon? Davis Lamond from Juvenile Services. You asked to see Selina Kyle. Could you sign for custody? And when you finish, you can bring her to our new facility on Water Street. She's scheduled to be transferred upstate tomorrow. 

James Gordon：Yeah, that's gonna be delayed. She has information about an investigation.

Harvey Bullock：( 对凯尔 ) Would you mind... stepping... back... A bit, please? Wait a minute. ( 对戈登 ) Is that one of the kids that was snatched? Another closed case. What is it about the word "closed" you don't understand?

James Gordon：This is something else. Just read the letters, track the balloons. I'll be back in an hour.

Harvey Bullock：( 阴阳怪气 ) Yeah, boss. Get right on it. ( 停顿一秒，疑惑 ) Where's my pen?

[06:41 转场]

[凯尔和戈登回到了韦恩夫妇遇害的小巷]

Selina Kyle：So why do you care who really killed the Waynes? 

James Gordon：Because I want the person responsible brought to justice.

Selina Kyle：( 笑 ) Did you read that in a book or something?

James Gordon：And... I made a promise to the boy. So?

Selina Kyle：The killer came from there. Took the man's wallet and the woman's necklace. Then shot them both. He left the boy alive. I was up there.

James Gordon：Everybody knows that much. Plus, the killer's face was covered.

Selina Kyle：Not at first. He pulled up his scarf when he walked toward them. I saw him for a second.

James Gordon：You saw him... here... in the dark?

Selina Kyle：I can see in the dark. You don't believe me.

James Gordon：There's a question of whether you're lying about what you saw, and then there's the question of whether you were even here. You're not giving me proof.

Selina Kyle：I just told you, I stole some chump's wallet just before it happened. That was, like, two blocks from here. Didn't he report it?

James Gordon：Yes, a man did report his wallet stolen by a thief that matches your description, and, yes, the timing does work out to just before the Waynes were murdered. But that does not place you here.

Selina Kyle：I dumped the wallet. There. ( 指向下水道 )

James Gordon：The sewer. Great. ( 拿出手铐拷出凯尔的一只手，无音效 ) It's not that I don't trust you not to run away. But, well... I don't.

Selina Kyle：You find the wallet, you'll let me go, right? That's the deal?

James Gordon：No. ( 将凯尔拷在楼梯铁栏杆上，无音效 ) Find the wallet, that places you here. We still have to find the guy.

Selina Kyle：That's bull!

James Gordon：That's the deal.

[戈登转身走向了窨井盖。凯尔趁机用另一只手掏出口袋里的开锁器]

[脚步声，井盖移动声，水滴声]

[08:56 脚踩在淤泥上“啪”声 伴随着戈登喘息后]

James Gordon：( 在下水道里，以下开混响 ) ( 轻声，嫌弃地 ) Oh, great.

James Gordon：( 混响 ) Son of a bitch. She was telling the truth.

Selina Kyle：( 俏皮地，混响 ) Oh~ Detective?

[戈登抬头，只见凯尔在井口晃着他的手铐]

Selina Kyle：( 冷漠 ) You're gonna need these.

[09:26 手铐落地声后]

James Gordon：Hey! Hey wait a minute! ( 抓狂 ) Ah-------!

[09:36 转场]

[穆尼的酒吧内]

[拉兹罗脸上带着被法尔科内手下打出来的伤]

Fish Mooney：( 对拉兹罗，温柔 ) Lazlo, honey, take a rest. Poor thing. ( 看见门口走来的重案二人组 ) Well, well, well. Detectives Montoya and Allen. To what do I owe this honor?

Crispus Allen：Thought we'd pay our respects. Maybe ask if you'd seen your friend Cobblepot around.

Fish Mooney：( 假装思索 ) Oswald. Hmm. Now that you mention it, I haven't seen him. Isn't that funny? Almost as funny as two detectives from Major Crimes looking for a nobody like Oswald.

Renee Montoya：Can we stop the dance? He's dead, isn't he? He was killed 'cause he told us about Pepper being framed for the Wayne murders.

Fish Mooney：He's dead. But I didn't kill the little snitch. Word is, Jim Gordon pulled the trigger.
